Traditional swabs with transport medium – sterile, Amies
Universal transport media for bacteria in microbiological samples. It is a
modification of the medium Cary Blair, itself of the medium Stuart. Basically,
the glycerophosphate is changed from the original composition to inorganic
phosphate and methylene blue for neutral pharmaceutical coal.
